Accountant

Position: Accountant – RMC Plant

Department: Plant & Machinery

Location: RMC Plant (BHUGAON Pune site)

Experience: 2–5 years in accounting, preferably in RMC, construction, similar industries

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain day-to-day accounting and financial records of the RMC plant.
• Record purchase, sales, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries in SAP.
• Handle vendor invoices, customer billing, debit/credit notes, and payment follow-ups.
• Reconcile customer, vendor, bank, and ledger accounts.
• Monitor plant expenses, petty cash, and daily transactions.
• Prepare MIS reports, expense statements, and other management reports.
• Coordinate with the plant, purchase, stores, sales, and commercial teams for accounting-related matters.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting policies.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Verify material/service invoices against supporting documents and purchase orders.
• Maintain proper records for audit and internal controls.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of SAP accounting modules and transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliation.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with plant-level accounting and cost/expense tracking will be preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

QualificationB.Com / M.Com qualification.

Preferred Candidate with prior experience in RMC, construction, infrastructure, cement, and hands-on experience in SAP-based accounting will be preferred.
