Field Service Engineer

What You’ll Actually Do

• Visit customer sites across the our operating region ( Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J&K) to install, commission, and configure office equipment — printers, copiers, EPABX systems, projectors, video conferencing units, digital kiosks

• Diagnose and repair faults independently — hardware, software, and network-related

• Train end users and operators at customer sites after installation

• Build and maintain a service documentation database — every job logged, every part tracked

• Proactively pitch AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and MPS contracts to customers during service visits — this is a revenue-generating role, not just a repair role

• Achieve consumable and repeat sales targets from your existing customer base

• Respond to breakdown calls within committed timelines and close them without escalation wherever possible

What We’re Looking For

Must-have:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on field service experience with office equipment — copiers, printers, EPABX, or networking

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation

• Comfortable working independently in the field — no one looking over your shoulder

• Willing to travel within the Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J&K region occasionally.

• Can communicate clearly with customers at site — in Hindi and basic English

Nice-to-have:

• Manufacturer-level certifications (HP, Kyocera, Panasonic, or Canon)

• Experience with IP networking, VoIP, or video conferencing systems

• Prior experience selling AMC or MPS contracts to customers

• Familiarity with service management apps or ticketing tools
