Job Description
Job Summary
The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, fabricated components, machined parts, assemblies, and finished rice milling machinery. The role involves establishing quality standards, conducting inspections, analyzing defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and driving continuous process improvements while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 6–10 years in Quality Engineering
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding inspection, and assembly quality.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Experience with quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, CAPA, SPC, and 8D methodology.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
