Job Description
- Retail Cashier – Job ResponsibilitiesGreet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout the billing process.
- Accurately process cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions.
- Generate bills, issue receipts, and ensure all transactions are completed correctly.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensure the billing counter is clean, organized, and well-stocked with required materials.
- Verify product prices, discounts, offers, and promotional schemes before billing.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and coordinate with the sales team when required.
- Promote loyalty programs, gift vouchers, memberships, and ongoing promotional offers.
- Report any cash shortages, excess cash, billing errors, or system issues to the Store Manager
