Accountant

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts.

Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries.

Prepare and verify invoices, debit notes and credit notes.

Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Perform bank, customer and vendor reconciliations.

Handle petty cash and maintain proper supporting documents.

Prepare monthly outstanding and ageing reports.

Assist in GST-related work including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and reconciliation.

Assist in TDS calculation, deduction and filing.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.

Verify expenses, bills and supporting documents before processing payments.

Coordinate with vendors, customers and internal departments regarding accounts-related issues.

Assist in preparation of monthly MIS and management reports.

Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
