Manager

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The role will be responsible for inventory management, receiving and dispatching materials, warehouse staff supervision, stock accuracy, safety, and ensuring smooth and timely operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including assigning duties and monitoring performance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock control.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Monitor inward and outward movement of materials and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically according to company procedures.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Finance, Production, and Logistics teams for smooth material movement.
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, and discrepancies.
• Ensure timely dispatch of customer orders and internal requirements.
• Maintain proper warehouse documentation, including GRN, delivery challans, stock transfer records, and dispatch documents.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of fragile, perishable, or sensitive materials.
• Monitor warehouse housekeeping and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Minimize stock damage, wastage, pilferage, and operational losses.
• Prepare and share regular reports on inventory, dispatches, receipts, stock discrepancies, and warehouse performance.
• Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely deliveries and pickups.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve warehouse efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and warehouse SOPs.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
• Good understanding of stock reconciliation and inventory control.
• Strong team-management and leadership skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
• Knowledge of warehouse documentation and dispatch procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• QualificationsBachelor's degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Commerce, or a related field.
• Relevant warehouse management experience preferred.
