Job Description
We are hiring a Female Fashion Designer/Merchandiser with knowledge of women’s Indian ethnic wear, including kurta sets, sarees, lehengas and co-ord sets. The candidate should be capable of managing a garment from initial concept and sampling through final bulk production.
Key Responsibilities:-
Research current fashion trends and develop seasonal ethnic-wear collections.
Create designs, mood boards, colour palettes, garment drapes and styling concepts.
Select suitable fabrics, embroidery, prints, laces, trims and accessories.
Coordinate fabric sourcing, sampling, fittings and design corrections.
Prepare design sheets, measurement specifications, fabric consumption and costing.
Convert approved samples into production-ready garments.
Coordinate with masters, tailors, vendors and production teams.
Check garment fitting, finishing, embroidery placement and production quality.
Ensure samples and bulk production are completed within deadlines.
