Field Installation Engineer

Install, configure, and commission Audio Visual systems, Video Conferencing solutions, displays, speakers, microphones, and control systems.

Read and understand AV drawings, wiring diagrams, rack layouts, and system schematics before starting installation work.

Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, termination, and testing according to company standards and project requirements.

Install and configure Video Conferencing systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and other collaboration solutions.

Mount displays, projectors, cameras, speakers, microphones, and other AV equipment safely and professionally.

1. Test all installed equipment and ensure complete system functionality before customer handover.
2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues related to AV systems.
3. Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants, and other contractors during project execution.
4. Prepare installation reports, testing reports, and daily work progress updates for management.
5. Ensure all work is completed according to approved drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
6. Handle customer demonstrations and provide basic training after successful installation and commissioning.
7. Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and service visits to maintain equipment performance.
8. Follow electrical safety standards and company safety guidelines while working at customer locations.
9. Keep updated with new Audio Visual products, Video Conferencing technologies, and installation best practices.
10. Travel to customer locations whenever required for installation, service, maintenance, or technical support.
11. Perform any additional technical, installation, or service responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
