Senior Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting, taxation, statutory compliances, and day-to-day financial operations, preferably in the construction industry.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain complete accounting records in Tally Prime.
• Prepare and finalize books of accounts.
• Handle GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliation, input tax credit (ITC), and notices.
• Manage TDS calculations, return filing, reconciliation, and issuance of TDS certificates.
• Handle PF & ESIC registration, monthly returns, challans, and statutory compliance.
• Manage payroll processing and salary accounting.
• Maintain daily petty cash records and cash flow.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor all banking transactions.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, Auditors, Government Departments, and Banks.
• Maintain records of purchase, sales, expenses, fixed assets, and vendor payments.
• Prepare data and documentation required for Income Tax, GST, and Statutory Audits.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and statutory regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of project-wise expenses and accounting records.
• Assist management in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
• Required SkillsStrong command of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
• Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, Payroll, and Accounting Standards.
• Experience in handling statutory compliances independently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet statutory deadlines.
• Experience in the construction or contracting industry will be preferred.
• QualificationB.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter (Preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
