Accountant

A Tally Accountant is responsible for managing all accounting tasks using Tally software, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations like GST and TDS. They play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting financial decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Accounting Operations:
• Handling daily accounting transactions, including recording cash, bank, and asset movements, and generating relevant reports. 
• Tally Software Proficiency:
• Managing all accounting activities using Tally software, ensuring data accuracy and efficient record-keeping. 
• Financial Reporting:
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other relevant reports. 
• Tax Compliance:
• Ensuring compliance with GST and TDS regulations, processing tax payments and returns, and managing tax-related documentation. 
• Account Reconciliation:
• Reconciling accounts payable and receivable, bank statements, and other financial records. 
• Auditing:
• Reviewing and auditing financial transactions and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
• General Ledger Maintenance:
• Maintaining accurate and timely general ledger entries. 
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. 
• Administrative Tasks:
• Handling documentation, communicating with authorities, and performing other administrative tasks related to finance. 
• Data Analysis:
• Analyzing financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making. 
• Compliance:
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
