Job Description
We are looking for a Design Engineer with experience in designing Material Handling Equipment such as Hydraulic Goods Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Dock Levelers, Mobile Dock Ramps, Conveyors, and Pallet Trucks. The candidate should have strong mechanical design skills, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and proficiency in CAD software.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
Design fabricated structures, hydraulic systems, and mechanical assemblies.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing drawings.
Perform design calculations for load, stress, and structural stability.
Coordinate with production, purchase, quality, and project teams.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and customer specifications.
Revise designs based on customer feedback and site requirements.
Maintain design documentation and engineering records.
Required Skills
AutoCAD (Mandatory)
SolidWorks or Creo (Preferred)
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and structural design
BOM preparation and drawing release
GD&T and welding standards
MS Office
