Hospitality Sales Manager - Resort (Goa) - Based in Patna Office

Position: Sales Manager

Location: Goa (Resort), but Office Location: Patna

Reports to: HR

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Development & Lead Generation:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for the resort in Goa, while working from the Patna office.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients from Patna and other regions for the resort in Goa.
• Engage with travel agents, corporate clients, tour operators, event planners, and other key stakeholders to drive bookings.
• Promote and sell the resort's offerings, including accommodation, events, dining, and leisure packages, from the Patna office.

1. Client Engagement & Relationship Building:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Engage with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings to pitch resort services and handle inquiries.
• Develop customized sales proposals and ensure proper communication of the resort's offerings to potential clients.
• Regularly follow up with leads and clients to ensure their needs are met and promote resort packages.

2.Sales Negotiation & Closing:

• Negotiate the terms, rates, and packages with clients based on their requirements, ensuring the resort's profitability.
• Close sales deals, including group bookings, corporate stays, leisure bookings, and special events.
• Ensure that all details related to the bookings are accurately documented and communicated with the resort team in Goa.

3.Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track sales targets and ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual goals from the Patna office.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, leads, conversion rates, and business forecasts.
• Coordinate with the sales and operations team in Goa to ensure smooth execution of booked services.

4.Collaboration with Resort Team:

• Work closely with the resort's on-ground team in Goa to ensure client requirements are met and services are delivered as promised.
• Communicate guest preferences, special requests, and booking details to the Goa resort for smooth operational execution.
• Assist in coordinating site inspections or meetings with clients who may need to visit the resort in Goa.

1. Marketing & Promotion:

• Collaborate with the marketing team in Patna to develop promotional campaigns that highlight the resort’s offerings.
• Participate in promotional events, roadshows, and networking events in Patna or nearby areas to build awareness about the resort.
• Assist in distributing marketing materials and creating offers targeting potential clients from Patna and surrounding regions.

5.Customer Service & Satisfaction:

• Act as a liaison between the resort and clients, ensuring that all guest needs are anticipated and met to exceed expectations.
• Handle post-booking inquiries, ensuring guests’ satisfaction before, during, and after their stay at the resort in Goa.
• Collect feedback from clients to help improve service offerings and ensure customer retention.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on resort sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the hospitality market, specifically in Goa, and an understanding of tourism dynamics.
• Experience in working remotely and coordinating between a central office and a remote property (in this case, the resort in Goa).
• Ability to manage leads and relationships effectively from a distance.
• Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office, and other sales tools.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
• A degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
