About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Merchandiser & Coordinator to join our merchandising team and help manage the day-to-day flow of products — from vendor coordination and production tracking to inventory planning and catalog readiness. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with 3–5 years of experience in apparel or fashion merchandising who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and able to coordinate smoothly across design, production, warehouse, and e-commerce teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning the seasonal merchandising calendar and product assortment across categories (sarees, suits, lehengas, indo-western, men's wear, and accessories).
• Coordinate with vendors, weavers, and manufacturing partners on production timelines, sampling, sizing, and quality checks.
• Track purchase orders end-to-end — raise POs, follow up on production status, and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels across SKUs and sizes; support replenishment planning and stock allocation across the website, app, and marketplace channels.
• Act as the coordination point between design, production, warehouse, and the e-commerce/catalog team to ensure new launches go live on schedule.
• Support pricing and costing workups for new products in line with margin targets.
• Analyze sell-through, best-seller, and slow-moving stock reports to inform reorder and markdown decisions.
• Maintain accurate vendor documentation — POs, invoices, rate cards, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with the content/photography team to ensure new styles are shot, listed, and published on time.
• Support ad hoc merchandising and operations tasks as the brand scales.

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or merchandising coordination — preferably within fashion, apparel, ethnic wear, or D2C retail.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, Business, or a related field ( fashion institute background is a plus).
• Working knowledge of the apparel product lifecycle — sourcing, sampling, production, and retail.
• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with inventory or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple SKUs, vendors, and timelines simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with vendors, designers, and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing D2C environment.
• A genuine interest in Indian ethnic fashion and understanding of current market trends is a strong plus.
