Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end import documentation and shipment coordination.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
- Ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of shipments.
- Verify import documents and ensure compliance with customs.
- Coordinate with accounts for duty payments and shipment-related invoices.
- Track shipments, resolve documentation issues, and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare import MIS and shipment status reports.
- Negotiate freight rates with logistics partners whenever required.
Requirements:
- Graduate with 2–5 years of experience in import documentation/operations.
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP software.
- Experience in handling food, agro, or FMCG imports.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with strong multitasking capabilities.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
