Job Description

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

Float RFQs (Request for Quotations) and obtain competitive quotations from multiple vendors.

Compare quotations based on price, quality, delivery, and commercial terms.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely order placement.

Follow up with vendors for on-time delivery of materials.

Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments.

Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and purchase documentation.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases to avoid stock shortages.

Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, quality concerns, or invoice discrepancies.

Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
