Job Description
Production Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, Sales, and Dispatch departments.
- Minimize production downtime, wastage, and rework through continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely maintenance of machines and equipment.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
- Enforce safety, housekeeping, and statutory compliance on the shop floor.
- Lead, train, and manage the production team.
- Prepare and present production performance reports to management.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering.
- Experience: Relevant experience in manufacturing/production management.
Skills
- Proficient in MS Office and computer applications.
- Knowledge of ERP software is preferred.
- Strong leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
