Senior Account Executive

Job Description

We are a growing Chartered Accountancy firm looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable accounting professional to join our team. In this role, you will be the core point of contact for finalizing accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

If you have a sharp eye for financial data, love solving accounting puzzles, and possess a strong grasp of Indian statutory provisions, we would love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Finalization of Accounts: Independently handle the end-to-end closing and finalization of books of accounts (Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements) for SMEs and corporate clients. Preparation of Financial Statements as per Ind AS for SMEs, Listed Companies etc.

Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with relevant statutory provisions, including Income Tax (TDS, Advance Tax), GST filing and reconciliation, and Companies Act requirements.

Audit Support: Prepare detailed audit schedules, financial notes, and working papers to support statutory and tax audits.

Client Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their day-to-day accounting queries, ensuring timely data collection, and resolving discrepancies.

Data Integrity & Review: Review the work of junior accountants/articles to ensure accurate ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·        Education: Semi Qualified CA / M.Com / B.Com / MBA in Finance.

·        Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting standards, GST regulations, Income Tax laws, and basic ROC compliance.

·        Software Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in Tally Prime, Quickbooks, or Zoho Books, along with advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).

·        Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to manage client relationships smoothly, excellent analytical abilities, and a collaborative team mindset.
