Professional Job Role:The Plant Procurement Executive will be responsible for identifying reliable plant growers and nurseries, conducting field visits, evaluating plant quality, negotiating commercial terms, and procuring plants in accordance with the organisation's quality standards and procurement requirements. The role also involves developing vendor relationships, coordinating logistics, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring timely availability of plant material.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field visits to nurseries and growers for plant procurement.
• Identify and develop a network of reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Evaluate plant quality, grading, and health before procurement.
• Negotiate prices and commercial terms to achieve cost-effective purchases.
• Coordinate transportation and timely delivery of procured plants.
• Maintain purchase documentation, vendor records, and procurement reports.
• Ensure compliance with organisational procurement policies and quality standards.
• Monitor market trends, plant availability, and pricing.
