Accountant

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•     Maintain and reconcile day-to-day accounting entries — purchases, sales, expenses, and bank transactions — in Tally or equivalent software.

•     Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances on time.

•     Manage accounts payable and receivable, including dealer and vendor payment follow-ups.

•     Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for management review.

•     Handle bank reconciliation, petty cash, and day-to-day fund management.

•     Coordinate with auditors, the CA, and tax consultants for audits and assessments.

•     Monitor stock and inventory valuation, coordinating with the sales and warehouse teams on stock records.

•     Supervise and guide junior accounts staff.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

•     B.Com or equivalent degree; M.Com or CA-Inter preferred.

•     3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a trading or distribution business.

•     Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, TDS, and basic income tax compliance.

•     Good working proficiency in MS Excel.

•     Detail-oriented and organized, with a track record of meeting statutory deadlines.

•     Trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential financial data.
