IVF Counsellor

The IVF Counsellor is responsible for providing comprehensive support to patients throughout their fertility treatment journey. The role involves educating patients about infertility, fertility treatment options, treatment protocols, procedures, medications, and expected outcomes while also providing clear and accurate financial counselling regarding treatment costs, packages, payment options, and billing processes. The counsellor serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive compassionate guidance, coordinated care, and a seamless treatment experience from initial consultation through completion of treatment.

-Counsel patients and couples on infertility, IVF, IUI, ICSI, fertility preservation, donor programs, and other assisted reproductive treatments.

-Explain treatment plans, investigations, medications, procedures, timelines, success rates, risks, and consent requirements in a clear and empathetic manner.

-Provide emotional support, address patient concerns, and help manage expectations throughout the treatment journey.

-Coordinate appointments, investigations, treatment schedules, and follow-ups with clinicians, nursing staff, embryologists, and other departments.

-Explain treatment packages, procedure costs, investigations, medication expenses, and any additional charges.

-Prepare and discuss treatment estimates, payment schedules, financing or EMI options (where applicable), and billing policies.

-Coordinate with the billing and accounts teams to ensure timely payments and accurate financial documentation.

-Maintain accurate patient counselling records, consent documentation, and financial counselling notes in the hospital information system.

-Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational policies.

-Resolve patient queries, concerns, and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.

-Conduct follow-up communications to improve treatment adherence, patient engagement, and continuity of care.
