Accounts and Finance Executive

Job Summary:

The Accounts & Compliance Executive will be responsible for managing statutory compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely return filings and supporting overall accounting and reporting functions. The role requires strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income tax and accounting principles, along with proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

-Statutory Compliance & Returns

-         Prepare and file monthly GST, ESI and EPF returns within due dates.

-         Handle quarterly TDS returns and ensure proper deduction and deposit.

-         Manage annual compliance, including ITR filing, Tax Audit and Statutory Audit coordination.

-         Maintain a Compliance Calendar to track and monitor all due dates.

Accounting & Financial Management

-         Record and review accounting entries in compliance with standards.

-         Conduct monthly book reviews and prepare MIS reports for management.

-         Perform fixed asset and stock verification periodically.

Client Management

-         Coordinate with clients for data collection, clarifications and follow ups.

-         Manage and train team members for smooth workflow execution.

-         Supervise task allocation and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Billing & Reporting

-         Oversee billing and invoice follow ups to ensure timely payments.

-         Prepare financial summaries and reports as required by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

-         Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting or Finance (B.com/M.com/CA Inter preferred)

-         1-3 years of experience in accounting and compliance.

-         Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.

-         Excellent organizational and communication skills.

-         Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

-         Tech Savy and adaptable to new tools and systems.
