Job Description
- Material Sourcing: Source diverse woven/knitted fabrics (blends, cotton, polyester, suitings, shirtings) and trims (buttons, zippers, thread, labels, interlinings, embroidery patches) suitable for corporate uniforms.
- Vendor Management: Build, negotiate with, and manage relationships with mill agents, fabric suppliers, trim manufacturers, and local wholesalers to secure competitive pricing and favorable payment terms.
- Cost & Quality Assurance: Evaluate material quality, color fastness, GSM, and durability against company standards while negotiating the best possible rates to optimize profit margins.
- Sample & Shade Approvals: Coordinate lab dips, shade matching, sample swatches, and trim approvals between suppliers and our design/production teams.
- Inventory & Procurement Tracking: Issue purchase orders (POs), monitor delivery schedules, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks to ensure zero production downtime.
