Senior Software Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives, mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor and guide junior developers through code reviews and technical discussions.
• Participate in software architecture, system design, and technology selection.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
