Job Description

Equipment Operation: Manage the start-up, shutdown, and changeover operations of DG sets and Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) or HT/LT panels. [1, 2, 3]

Monitoring & Logging: Record running hours, fuel consumption, voltage, frequency, oil pressure, and coolant temperature in daily log sheets.

Preventive Maintenance: Carry out routine servicing, including checking engine oil, belts, batteries, and filters.

Fuel Management: Track fuel inventory and coordinate timely refueling to prevent power interruptions.

Troubleshooting & Safety: Diagnose and address minor mechanical and electrical faults, adhering strictly to facility safety protocols. [1]
