About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Front-End Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in website development, frontend technologies and WordPress. 

The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing multiple company and client websites. The role involves working on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks and WordPress, react.js, Laravel based websites, ensuring websites are responsive, secure, optimized and technically reliable. 

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and should have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

Key Responsibilities 

Front-End Development 

• Develop responsive and functional websites using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and WordPress, react.js, Laravel. 
• Build and maintain modern, responsive and cross-browser compatible web interfaces. 
• Convert website requirements and designs into functional web pages. 
• Develop reusable and maintainable frontend components. 
• Implement interactive elements, forms, animations and website functionalities. 
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services. 
• Optimize websites for speed, performance and reliability. 
• Identify and resolve frontend bugs and browser compatibility issues. 
• Maintain clean, structured and well-documented code. 

WordPress Development & Management 

• Develop, customize and maintain WordPress websites. 
• Customize WordPress themes and templates according to business requirements. 
• Work with WordPress plugins, widgets and third-party integrations. 
• Develop and modify WordPress pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP where required. 
• Configure and customize WordPress themes and page builders. 
• Troubleshoot WordPress errors, plugin conflicts and website issues. 
• Perform WordPress updates, maintenance and optimization. 
• Improve website loading speed and overall performance. 
• Implement website backups, security updates and basic WordPress security practices. 
• Manage website content and structural changes when required. 
• Coordinate with hosting and IT teams for domain, SSL, DNS and hosting-related requirements. 

Website Development & Maintenance 

• Develop corporate websites, landing pages, product pages and web portals. 
• Maintain and enhance existing company and client websites. 
• Implement new website features and functionality. 
• Troubleshoot website downtime, errors and frontend issues. 
• Ensure websites work properly across desktop, tablet and mobile devices. 
• Optimize websites for search-engine-friendly structures and performance. 
• Monitor website performance and identify areas for technical improvement. 
• Work on multiple websites and projects simultaneously. 

API & Third-Party Integration 

• Integrate websites with REST APIs and third-party services. 
• Work with payment gateways, CRM systems, email services, SMS platforms and other external integrations. 
• Troubleshoot frontend/API integration issues. 
• Coordinate with backend developers when integration-related issues arise. 

Performance & Optimization 

• Optimize website loading speed and frontend performance. 
• Optimize images, CSS, JavaScript and other website resources. 
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. 
• Implement caching and other frontend optimization techniques. 
• Ensure websites follow basic web performance and SEO best practices. 
• Maintain responsive performance across different browsers and devices. 

Collaboration & Project Delivery 

• Work closely with backend developers, QA engineers, IT, marketing and content teams. 
• Understand business and technical requirements and convert them into functional websites. 
• Participate in development planning and technical discussions. 
• Provide realistic development estimates and meet project deadlines. 
• Follow coding standards and version-control practices. 
• Use Git/GitHub/GitLab or similar tools for source-code management. 
• Participate in testing, debugging and deployment activities. 

Required Technical Skills 

Mandatory Skills 

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. 
• Strong understanding of responsive web development. 
• Hands-on experience with WordPress development and website management. 
• Experience with WordPress themes and plugins. 
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Angular, Vue.js or equivalent. 
• Good knowledge of JavaScript ES6+. 
• Experience with REST API integration. 
• Good understanding of browser compatibility and frontend debugging. 
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab or similar version-control systems. 
• Understanding of website performance optimization.
