Job Description
The Line Leader is responsible for supervising the production line, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety, and manpower management are achieved. The candidate must have prior work experience in the lighting industry (LED bulbs, LED battens, downlights, panel lights, street lights, flood lights, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise production line operators.
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Monitor product quality and reduce defects.
- Allocate manpower efficiently and manage shift activities.
- Train new operators on assembly processes and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, 5S, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
- Report production output, downtime, and rejection data.
- Identify process improvements to increase productivity.
- Maintain discipline and ensure attendance on the production line.
