Maintenance Engineer

Job purpose

Responsible  for Operation and Maintenance of Utility Equipements in maintenance dept. and good knowledge on critical spare parts management.

Main Accountabilities

Areas of Expertise

·      Through knowledge on Utilities Operation and Maintenance, Preventive & Breakdown maintenance of the Production and Utility Equipements, DG Synchronizing Panels, Transformers, Electrical installations, HVAC systems, STP, ETP and WTP etc.

·      Diagnosing faults, leading repair efforts to minimize downtime, and conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

·      Provide technical expertise, manage contractor support, ensure safety compliance, and update maintenance documentation to restore operational efficiency rapidly.

·      Understand how to keep mechanical and electrical systems running efficiently.

·      Be able to service, troubleshoot, and repair equipments.

·      Know how to optimize maintenance procedures to improve machine performance 

·      Be proficient in using maintenance software and other computer systems

·      Knowledge of Prepare blueprints and technical diagrams and schematics.

• Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.
• Should Develop maintenance policies and procedures and responded to maintenance requests.
• Monitor maintenance and inspection plans.

·      Able to read the drawings & engineering specifications and tolerances.

·      Should be able to prepare and give presentations using MS presentations and good knowledge of Excel and MS word

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, word and presentation.( Must)
• Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Should Know the regulatory compliance requirements and safety standards 
• Excellent organizational, time management and people skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Excellent Problem-solving abilities

·      Having exposure with ISO & OHSAS standards and faced the internal and external audits.

·      Having experience of documentation work.

·      Exposure in handling government agencies, local authorities / Agencies 

• Education

-         BE or Diploma in Electrical engineering

• Experience

-         8 to 10 years of hands on experience in Maintenance dept especially in Operation and Maintenance, Preventive & Breakdown maintenance of Utility and production maintenance and spare parts management.

-         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, word and presentation .
