We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the company's financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions, and strengthening internal financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts using Tally Prime or ERP systems.
• Record and reconcile all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain the General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor petty cash transactions and maintain appropriate financial controls.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Verify vendor invoices, process payments, and reconcile supplier statements.
• Monitor customer collections and outstanding receivables to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve payment-related queries.

Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Generate timely MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning activities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Statutory Compliance & Audit

• Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and statutory records.

Payroll & Operational Finance

• Support payroll processing and maintain payroll-related records.
• Assist in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and food cost analysis.
• Monitor cost controls and identify opportunities to improve operational profitability.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, processes, and approval frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality, restaurant, food & beverage, or retail industry.
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems or Zoho Books will be an added advantage.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

• Successful completion of internal and statutory audits with minimal observations.
