Job Description: Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations to ensure seamless warehouse management, inventory accuracy, and efficient order fulfillment. 

Key Responsibilities

 • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.  

* Ensure timely processing of orders while maintaining high accuracy and service levels. 

* Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical audits. 

* Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams for smooth inventory movement. 

* Manage warehouse space efficiently to maximize storage capacity and improve operational flow.  

* Implement and maintain warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and housekeeping practices. 

 • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring productivity.  

* Track key warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory variance, dispatch turnaround time, and productivity. • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely dispatches and deliveries.  

* Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.  

* Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.  

* Handle warehouse documentation, inventory reports, GRNs, dispatch records, and reconciliation reports.

 Qualifications & Experience 

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or a related field.  

* 4–7 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG, Cosmetics, Beauty, or Consumer Goods. 

* Experience managing high-volume inventory and warehouse teams.  

* Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.  

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
