VMC Programmer

Looking for a CNC/VMC Programmer cum Operator with 7 years of experience handles advanced machine programming, full setup, tooling optimization, and shop-floor leadership. The role requires expert knowledge of G-codes and M-codes, Fanuc or similar controllers, precise blueprint reading, and ensuring high-quality output on multi-axis machinery.

Programming & Optimization: Write, test, and optimize complex 3-axis and 4-axis VMC/CNC programs using CAM software or manual G/M code editing.Machine Setup & Tooling: Perform complete machine setups, zero/work offsets, tool offsets, and fixture adjustments while fixing minor on-site glitches.Quality Control: Check finished parts using precise measuring tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges to match blueprints.Troubleshooting: Resolve tool wear issues, adjust speed and feed rates, and correct dimensional errors during production runs.Shop Floor Guidance: Train junior operators, monitor safety regulations, and oversee shift output targets.Required Skills & Qualifications experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, tool rooms, or production plants.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of cutting parameters, tool life calculations, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Software/Controls: Proficiency in Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controls and CAD/CAM software (like Mastercam or AutoCAD).
