Store Executive

Job Summary

The Hardware Store Executive is responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, maintaining store displays, processing sales, and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations.

The role requires strong product knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome customers and understand their hardware, electrical, plumbing, paint, or construction material requirements.
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the billing/POS system.
• Maintain stock levels by monitoring inventory and coordinating replenishment.
• Receive, inspect, and arrange incoming stock.
• Ensure products are displayed neatly and shelves are well organized.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
• Coordinate with suppliers for order placement and delivery follow-up.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the store.
