Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Control Engineer who is passionate about manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that every product manufactured at Hubtric meets customer specifications, international quality standards, and internal quality objectives.


The candidate will work closely with Production, Design, Procurement, Sales, and Customers to establish a zero-defect manufacturing culture.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Key ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming raw materials and verify material certificates (MTC/MTR) to ensure they meet specifications before production.
  2. Perform in-process inspections during CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, assembly, and other manufacturing processes.
  3. Conduct final inspection of finished products to ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, packaging, and compliance with customer requirements.
  4. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications to accurately inspect manufactured components.
  5. Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, thread gauges, and CMM (preferred).
  6. Prepare and maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, First Article Inspection (FAI), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), CAPA, and quality records.
  7. Identify, report, and investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  8. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer quality standards, while following all internal quality procedures and work instructions.
  9. Monitor calibration status of measuring instruments and ensure only calibrated equipment is used for inspection.
  10. Work closely with Production, Design, Procurement, and Operations teams to resolve quality concerns and improve manufacturing processes.
  11. Support supplier quality activities by inspecting incoming materials, reporting defects, and coordinating corrective actions with vendors.
  12. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, scrap, and customer complaints using Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
  13. Participate in internal and external quality audits and assist in maintaining quality certifications and compliance requirements.
  14. Maintain complete traceability and accurate quality records for all inspected products and customer requirements.
  15. Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement by ensuring zero-defect manufacturing and maintaining high standards across the organization.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)The Quality Control Engineer will be evaluated based on the following:


  1. Incoming Material Acceptance Rate – Accuracy and timely inspection of incoming materials.
  2. First Pass Yield (FPY) – Percentage of products passing inspection without rework.
  3. Internal Rejection Rate – Reduction in manufacturing defects and rejected parts.
  4. Customer Complaint Rate – Number of quality-related customer complaints.
  5. Rework & Scrap Reduction – Continuous reduction of rework and scrap through effective quality control.
  6. Inspection Accuracy & Timeliness – Completion of inspections within the required time with zero reporting errors.
  7. CAPA Closure – Timely implementation and closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  8. Calibration Compliance – 100% compliance with calibration schedules for all measuring equipment.
  9. Documentation Accuracy – Timely and error-free maintenance of inspection reports, NCRs, FAI reports, and quality records.
  10. Audit Performance – Successful participation in internal, customer, and certification audits with minimal non-conformities.
  11. Supplier Quality Performance – Reduction in supplier-related defects and timely reporting of non-conformances.
  12. Continuous Improvement – Active contribution to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives that enhance quality and productivity.
