Fraud And Risk Associate

Key Responsibilities

●     Review customer applications and identity or financial documents to identify inconsistencies, potential fraud indicators, or policy deviations.

●     Validate customer information using internal systems and available data sources, including KYC records and reports.

●     Complete application reviews within defined timelines.

●     Assess document authenticity and escalate discrepancies or irregularities as per SOP.

●     Apply standard operating procedures and decision guidelines to approve, hold, or recommend rejection of cases.

●     Review flagged cases and identify observable risk indicators.

●     Maintain clear, accurate, and audit-ready case notes and supporting documentation.

●     Meet defined turnaround time and quality standards.

●     Provide feedback to improve fraud controls, SOPs, and review processes based on observations.

Skills & Competencies

●     Good understanding of KYC documentation and banking products, particularly loans and credit cards.

●     Ability to identify inconsistencies in customer data and documents.

●     Ability to interpret and follow SOPs and apply decision criteria consistently.

●     Familiarity with common customer documents such as identity proofs, address proofs, and bank statements.

●     Clear written communication skills for documenting review outcomes.

●     High standards of integrity and confidentiality when handling customer information.

●     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with defined timelines.
