Role OverviewWe are seeking a client-focused and performance-driven Wealth Manager to acquire, advise, and manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals, affluent investors, business owners, and retail clients.

The successful candidate will understand clients’ financial objectives, assess their risk profiles, recommend suitable investment solutions, grow Assets Under Management (AUM), generate revenue, and build long-term client relationships. This is a client-facing and target-oriented role requiring strong investment-product knowledge and business-development capabilities.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesAcquire new clients through networking, referrals, prospecting, existing relationships, and other business-development channels.
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with HNI, affluent, business-owner, and retail clients.
  • Understand each client’s financial goals, liquidity requirements, investment horizon, and risk profile.
  • Recommend suitable financial products and investment solutions in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework and company guidelines.
  • Present investment proposals, portfolio recommendations, and financial strategies clearly and professionally.
  • Grow AUM and generate revenue through new client acquisition, portfolio consolidation, cross-selling, and relationship expansion.
  • Advise clients across products such as equities, mutual funds, bonds, fixed-income products, PMS, AIFs, insurance, and other approved investment solutions.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and communicate portfolio performance, market developments, risks, and opportunities to clients.
  • Maintain regular engagement with clients and ensure timely resolution of their service requirements.
  • Stay informed about financial markets, economic developments, investment products, taxation considerations, and regulatory changes.
  • Coordinate with research, dealing, operations, product, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution and client service.
  • Maintain complete and accurate client records, interaction notes, follow-up schedules, and opportunity pipelines in the CRM.
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual targets relating to AUM, revenue, client acquisition, and product penetration.
  • Ensure all client communication, documentation, and transactions comply with internal policies and applicable regulations.
  • Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance will be preferred.
  • Relevant NISM certifications will be an advantage, including certifications related to equity derivatives, investment advisory, mutual funds, or other applicable financial products.
  • Required Experience2–5 years of relevant experience in wealth management, broking, banking, investment distribution, financial advisory, or relationship management.
  • Demonstrated experience in client acquisition, relationship management, investment-product distribution, or AUM growth.
  • Experience managing HNI, affluent, corporate, or business-owner relationships will be preferred.
  • An existing client network, transferable relationships, or a proven record of mobilising investments will be an added advantage.
  • Required SkillsStrong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
  • Excellent client-acquisition and relationship-management capabilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
  • Commercial orientation with the ability to achieve AUM and revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to explain complex financial products in a clear and client-friendly manner.
  • Good follow-up discipline and pipeline-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM platforms, and financial-planning or portfolio-management tools.
  • High standards of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and regulatory discipline.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a target-driven and fast-growing organisation.
