Silicon Firmware & Embedded Engineer
Project Role : Silicon Firmware & Embedded EngineerProject Role Description : Write the software that powers and operates a silicon chip. Develop pre-silicon firmware and software with a direct interface to hardware. Integrate and develop C tests/APIs and software build flow. Perform design and code reviews. Test and validate product implementations.

Summary:
As a Silicon Firmware and Embedded Engineer, a typical day involves writing software that controls and operates silicon chips, focusing on developing firmware and software before the silicon is finalized. The role includes creating and integrating tests and application programming interfaces that interact directly with hardware components. Time is also dedicated to reviewing designs and code to ensure quality and functionality, as well as testing and validating the implemented products to meet required standards. Collaboration with team members to refine software build processes and troubleshoot issues is an integral part of daily activities.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components.
- Maintain thorough documentation of development processes and testing outcomes.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members to support their professional growth.
- Continuously update knowledge on emerging technologies relevant to silicon firmware development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Embedded C++.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software interfacing and embedded system architecture.
- Experience in developing and integrating firmware with silicon hardware.
- Ability to perform detailed design and code reviews to ensure software quality.
- Skilled in creating and executing tests and validation procedures for embedded software.
- Familiarity with software build flows and automation tools used in embedded development.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Embedded C++.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
