Accountant/ Accounts Executive

is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring statutory compliance. The ideal candidate possesses strong numerical acumen, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience with modern accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Transactions: Record and categorize all daily financial entries in the general ledger accurately.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, vendor ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Reporting: Prepare and publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Tax Compliance: Calculate, prepare, and file necessary tax returns (e.g., GST, TDS, or local corporate taxes).
• Bookkeeping & Closings: Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and execute timely month-end and year-end closing cycles.
• Auditing Support: Maintain organized documentation and assist internal/external auditors during annual financial audits.
• Data Integrity: Secure financial data confidentiality and run regular database backups.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: [X] years of proven experience working as an Accountant or Bookkeeper.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
