Quality Inspector

The QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting machined components at various stages of production and before dispatch, ensuring every piece meets drawing and customer specifications. This role is the frontline guarantee ofParFlow’s quality reputation, and a foundation for the certifications and quality-records systems the business isbuilding toward.3. Key Responsibilities•Inspect incoming raw material, in-process components, and finished goods against drawing/specification•Use standard measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances•Record inspection results accurately and maintain traceability•Flag and quarantine non-conforming components; support root cause discussions•Prepare/support Material Test Certificates (MTC/EN10204) and inspection reports for dispatch•Coordinate with Production on recurring quality issues•Maintain calibration records for measuring instruments•Support final pre-dispatch inspection and documentation4. Key Result Areas (KRAs) / KPIs•Zero customer-side rejection on inspected/approved lots•Inspection cycle time vs. production schedule•Accuracy and completeness of MTC/inspection documentation•First-pass inspection rate5. Qualifications & Experience•Diploma/B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy•2 years of experience in quality inspection, to start with (precision machining/engineering components environment preferred).Skills & Competencies•Proficiency with standard measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, height gauge); CMM exposure anadvantage•Ability to read engineering drawings and basic GD&T•Working knowledge of MTC/EN10204 documentation•Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001/API is an advantage (not mandatory today, but relevant toParFlow’s certification roadmap)•High attention to detail and integrity in reporting — no compromise on recording accurate results.
