Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in GST compliance, taxation, and accounting.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience and be capable of independently managing accounting and statutory compliance functions. E-commerce industry experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and other applicable returns.

Perform GST reconciliations and ensure compliance with applicable GST regulations.

TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.

Manage accounting entries, journal vouchers, ledger scrutiny, and book-keeping.

Prepare and finalize financial statements and MIS reports.

Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.

Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government/tax authorities.

Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

Assist management with financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.

Stay updated with changes in GST, taxation, and accounting laws.

Independently manage day-to-day accounting and compliance activities.

Candidate Profile Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or relevant accounting qualification.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

practical knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and accounting.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting functions.

Good analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

E-commerce accounting experience preferred.

Good working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
