Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and execution-driven Site Project Manager to lead end-to-end project execution for commercial office interiors and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in interior fit-outs, civil construction, MEP coordination, and project management. This role requires complete ownership of site execution and the ability to independently manage projects in the absence of the Chief Architect while ensuring timely delivery, quality, and zero avoidable escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of commercial & office interior fit-out, construction, C&I and MEP scope of projects from mobilisation through final handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
- Prepare execution plans, monitor daily site activities, and drive project progress against schedules.
- Coordinate architectural, civil, structural, interior, MEP, and finishing works to ensure seamless execution.
Site Management
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams.
- Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and proactively resolve execution challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
MEP Coordination
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works with civil and interior activities.
- Identify and resolve site-level clashes before execution.
- Review MEP layouts and ensure seamless integration with architectural and interior works.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary on-site representative for clients, consultants, architects, PMC teams, vendors, and contractors.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with all stakeholders.
- Conduct progress meetings, provide regular project updates, and resolve concerns proactively.
- Ensure effective communication that results in minimal to zero project escalations.
Vendor & Client Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, material deliveries, installation, and execution.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Liaise with clients for approvals, inspections, design clarifications, and project milestones.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through professional communication and efficient issue resolution.
Project Management & PMC Coordination
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Project Management Consultancy (PMC) processes and scope of work.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, procurement, risks, and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Maintain all project documentation including BOQs, RFIs, variation orders, MOMs, and handover documentation.
Leadership & Ownership
- Independently manage complete site execution in the absence of the Chief Architect.
- Take ownership of project delivery from start to finish.
- Make informed on-site decisions to avoid delays and resolve issues promptly.
- Lead teams with accountability while ensuring a zero or negligible escalation margin from clients and stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of experience managing commercial office interiors, construction, and C&I projects.
- Strong expertise in commercial interior fit-outs, civil construction, structural coordination, and finishing works.
- Excellent working knowledge of MEP systems and site coordination.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and PMC scope of work.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, vendor management, contractor coordination, and client handling.
- Excellent planning, scheduling, and execution capabilities.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple stakeholders and fast-paced project environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and project documentation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in commercial office fit-outs, construction, and C&I projects is mandatory.
- Familiarity with project scheduling software and construction management tools is preferred.
