Business Development Executive

Role OverviewThe Sales Executive will be responsible for generating and closing new business, and for managing the customer relationship and service experience once a customer is onboarded — from lead to long-term account.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

• Identify and generate new leads through market research, referrals, and outreach
• Make cold calls and approach prospective customers
• Follow up on and convert leads provided by the company
• Manage the complete CRM cycle for every lead, including documentation, at each stage
• Close leads and convert them into active customers
• Work towards and consistently deliver against assigned sales targets

Account & Service Management

• Maintain regular communication and strong working relationships with customers
• Ensure customers receive the expected levels of service
• Conduct operational follow-ups for new and critical accounts to ensure service levels are met
• Escalate service issues to management promptly, with the relevant context

Reporting

• Prepare MIS reports on sales activity, pipeline, and account performance
• RequirementsStrong written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi
• Working proficiency with ERP/CRM systems
• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a pipeline and priorities independently
• Comfortable with cold outreach and target-driven work
