Job SummaryREEW Products Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrical Design & Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical panel design, panel wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and production coordination. The candidate will be responsible for designing industrial control panels, supervising shop floor activities, ensuring quality standards, and supporting the manufacturing of industrial heating systems and automation panels.

• Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical DesignDesign electrical control panels for industrial machines and heating systems.
• Prepare electrical schematics, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD.
• Select electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, Contactors, Relays, SSRs, SMPS, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, Sensors, and Temperature Controllers.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and cable schedules.
• Modify electrical designs based on customer requirements and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with the Mechanical Design team for complete machine integration.
• Panel Wiring & ManufacturingSupervise electrical panel assembly and wiring activities.
• Ensure wiring is carried out as per approved electrical drawings and standards.
• Verify proper cable routing, ferruling, labeling, earthing, and termination.
• Maintain panel quality, workmanship, and safety standards during manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Purchase for timely availability of electrical components.
• Testing & CommissioningPerform pre-dispatch inspection and testing of electrical panels.
• Conduct functional testing of temperature control systems, heaters, sensors, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and protection circuits.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults during assembly and testing.
• Support installation and commissioning activities at customer sites whenever required.
• Prepare testing reports and commissioning documents.
• Production Planning & Shop Floor ManagementPlan and monitor daily electrical production activities.
• Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, and production teams to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure timely completion of electrical work without compromising quality.
• Maintain production records, work schedules, and progress reports.
• Follow and implement electrical safety standards on the shop floor.
• Leadership & CoordinationLead and supervise electricians, panel technicians, and wiring personnel.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, Dispatch, and Service departments.
• Train technicians on panel wiring standards, safety practices, and testing procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drafting (AutoCAD Electrical is an advantage).
• Knowledge of industrial control panel design and manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in panel wiring, cable sizing, and electrical component selection.
• Good understanding of Temperature Control Panels, PID Controllers, PLC, HMI, VFD, SSR, Sensors, Thermocouples, RTDs, Timers, Contactors, and Protection Devices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience in panel testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical safety standards and wiring practices.
• Good communication, planning, and documentation skills.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to manage shop floor teams.
• Preferred QualificationsDiploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in industrial electrical panel design, manufacturing, or automation.
• Experience in industrial ovens, furnaces, heating systems, process equipment, or machine automation will be preferred.
