Position: Cashier
Industry: Casino & Hospitality
Location: Panjim, Goa
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our casino operations team in Panjim. The ideal candidate should have prior cashiering experience, excellent numerical accuracy, and the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. Candidates must be comfortable working in rotational shifts.
Shift Timings
Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Night Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
(Rotational Shifts)
Key Responsibilities
Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
Exchange cash for casino gaming chips/tokens and vice versa.
Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain accurate transaction records and prepare daily cash reports.
Verify customer transactions and ensure compliance with casino policies.
Detect and report discrepancies or suspicious transactions immediately.
Provide courteous and professional customer service to guests.
Coordinate with the Finance and Gaming Operations teams for smooth cash handling.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and security of cash and financial information.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier (Casino, Hospitality, Retail, Banking, or similar industries preferred).
Experience in handling high-volume cash transactions.
Required Skills
Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
Good knowledge of POS systems and basic computer applications.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a Casino will be an added advantage.
Good communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of Konkani is a plus).
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
