Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities in the publishing market
- Visit bookstores, schools, colleges, and distributors to promote company books
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Present new book launches and catalogues to potential buyers
- Coordinate with marketing team for promotional campaigns and events
- Manage order processing, follow-ups, and payments collection
- Keep track of competitor activities and market trends
- Participate in book fairs, exhibitions, and promotional activities
- Required Skills & Qualifications:Graduate in any stream (MBA/Marketing preferred)
- 1–3 years of sales experience (Publishing / FMCG / Retail preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Self-motivated and target-driven attitude
- Preferred Experience:Experience in book publishing, distribution, or educational sales
- Existing network with bookstores, schools, or distributors
