Field Service Technician

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot broadband, networking, and communication equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure Fiber Broadband (FTTH), Wi-Fi routers, ONTs, and networking devices.
• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of internet and network services.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, hardware, and configuration issues.
• Respond to customer service requests and resolve complaints within the defined SLA.
• Test and verify internet speed, signal strength, and service quality after installation.
• Perform fiber cable termination, splicing, and fault identification when required.
• Replace or repair faulty networking equipment and customer premises devices.
• Coordinate with the NOC and technical support teams for complex troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate service reports, installation records, and customer documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures.
• Educate customers on the proper use of installed equipment and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory assigned for field operations.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of Fiber Broadband (FTTH), GPON, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi networking.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, LAN/WAN, and basic routing.
• Ability to troubleshoot routers, ONTs, switches, and internet connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with fiber testing equipment is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• QualificationsITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Freshers with technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Experience0–3 years of experience in ISP, Telecom, Networking, or Technical Field Services.
• Freshers are welcome.
• Preferred SkillsExperience with Fiber Optic installations.
• Basic networking certifications (CCNA, HCIA, etc.) are an advantage.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license (preferred).
