Store Incharge

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Store Executive to manage the receipt, storage, inventory, and dispatch of lift and elevator materials. The ideal candidate will ensure proper inventory control, timely material availability for installation and service teams, and accurate stock records to support uninterrupted project execution.

• Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify lift and elevator materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Maintain accurate records of inward and outward stock in ERP, Tally, or MS Excel.
• Issue materials to Installation, Service, and Modernization teams based on approved material requisitions.
• Maintain stock levels of elevator components such as guide rails, machines, motors, controllers, COPs, LOPs, door operators, wire ropes, buttons, cables, safety devices, and spare parts.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of all materials to prevent damage and loss.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the Purchase Department for replenishment of critical and fast-moving items.
• Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), Delivery Challans, and stock reports.
• Monitor material movement between the warehouse, factory, and project sites.
• Coordinate with the Logistics, Installation, Service, and Accounts teams for timely dispatch and documentation.
• Maintain proper documentation of warranty materials, returned materials, and defective items.
• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area in compliance with company standards.
• QualificationsGraduate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or any relevant discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Store, Inventory, or Warehouse Management.
• Experience in the Lift & Elevator industry will be preferred.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
• Good understanding of lift and elevator components and spare parts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP/Tally software.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred ExperienceExperience handling inventory for Lift & Elevator, Escalator, Car Parking Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Construction companies.
• Knowledge of inventory audits, stock reconciliation, and material planning.
