🚨 WE ARE HIRING – PURCHASE MANAGER

Industry: Dry Fruits /FMCG | Food Products

Location: Delhi NCR

Experience: 5 years+

Employment: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Manager to handle procurement of dry fruits, FMCG products and food. The candidate should have strong supplier networks, excellent negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of market pricing and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of dry fruits, nuts, spices, FMCG products and raw materials.
  • Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.
  • Negotiate prices, quality, payment terms and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new sourcing channels.
  • Monitor daily/weekly market prices and identify the best buying opportunities.
  • Coordinate with inventory, warehouse, accounts and management.
  • Ensure timely procurement according to stock requirements and sales forecasts.
  • Conduct supplier comparison and obtain competitive quotations.
  • Monitor product quality, specifications, wastage and rejection issues.
  • Handle purchase documentation, purchase orders and supplier records.
  • Develop alternate suppliers to reduce procurement risk and improve margins.
  • Maintain accurate purchase data and prepare regular MIS reports.

Candidate Profile

  • 5–years + relevant purchase/procurement experience , preferably in dry fruits, FMCG, food ingredients or food/raw-material trading.
  • Strong knowledge of dry fruits and food commodity markets will be highly preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor-management skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality, pricing and market trends.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/ERP/software.
  • Existing supplier/vendor network will be an added advantage.
