Business Development Associate

Job Description

Responsible for identifying relevant business opportunities on online platforms, preparing and submitting bids/proposals, communicating with potential clients, and generating new business leads. The role will involve understanding client requirements, coordinating with the technical team to prepare suitable proposals, following up with prospects, negotiating basic commercial terms, and converting leads into projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Search and identify relevant projects and business opportunities on online bidding platforms.
• Prepare and submit professional bids, proposals, and quotations.
• Communicate with potential clients to understand their requirements.
• Coordinate with the technical team to develop appropriate proposals and solutions.
• Follow up with leads and maintain regular client communication.
• Maintain records of bids, leads, follow-ups, and project status.
• Support client acquisition and business development activities.
• Achieve defined targets for bids, qualified leads, and project conversions.

Requirements:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of online bidding and business development.
• Ability to prepare professional proposals and client communications.
• Good negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Prior experience with platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, IndiaMART, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Freshers with strong communication and business development skills may also apply.
