Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman with expertise in Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems to prepare detailed shop drawings, coordinated layouts, and as-built drawings for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
• Develop shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Clients for drawing approvals.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions and consultant comments.
• Prepare material take-offs and BOQs from approved drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and relevant standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.
• Support project execution with timely drawing submissions.
• RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in Plumbing & Fire Fighting drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Plumbing, Drainage, Water Supply, Hydrant, Sprinkler, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Ability to prepare shop drawings and coordinated MEP layouts.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and site coordination.
• Basic knowledge of BOQ preparation and material estimation is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Preferred SkillsExperience working with MEP contractors.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (3D/Revit will be an added advantage).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
