Finance Associate

IMPORTANT: This role requires a finance-educated candidate who genuinely understands SME business language. A CA article ship-done candidate, MBA Finance, or B.Com + CA firm experience is now the minimum. This is because the candidate must be able to have credible conversations about cash flow, MIS, compliance gaps, and funding readiness - not just read a script. The finance background ensures they understand the 'why' behind what they are saying.

Qualification: MINIMUM ONE of the following:

-> Completed CA Articleship (3 years) - even if CA Finals not yet cleared

-> MBA Finance from any recognized college

-> B.Com + 2 or more years working in a CA firm (audit, accounts, compliance, GST)

NOT suitable: Pure tele-callers, BPO background without finance understanding, freshers with no finance exposure.

What You Do Daily

-> Review FRI form submissions before each call (score, band, weak areas)

-> Run scripted 25-30 min Discovery Call (word-for-word script provided)

-> Listen, take live notes, score the lead on internal matrix, book Call 2 same day

-> Send WhatsApp follow-ups after each call (templates given - no improvising)

-> Pre-fill Gap Report and Cost of Inaction Calculator before Call 2

-> Update Pipeline Tracker after every single call

-> 15-minute internal review daily

Why Finance Background Matters:

-> You will be talking to business owners about GST pain, book delays, cash flow stress

-> If you have never heard these terms in a real context, you will sound robotic

-> A CA article ship or CA firm background means you instantly understand what they mean when they say 'my CA handles everything' or 'month-end is a mess'

-> You do not need to advise - but you need to genuinely understand what they are describing

Growth Path:

Month 1-2: Master Call 1. Month 3+: Lead Call 2 with senior review. Year 1: Senior CFO Associate with potential team lead role as we scale.
