Civil Design Engineer

Job Summary: The Civil Design Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the design of transportation systems, ensuring they are efficient, safe, and sustainable.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Preferred Experience:
• 1-5 years of experience in transportation engineering, traffic management, or infrastructure design.
• Experience with transportation modeling software, traffic analysis tools, and CAD design software.
• Experience in project management, including coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles, road design, and traffic systems.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (MicroStation, Open road designer, Bluebeam etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Planning:
• Perform CAD design for Road design.
• Develop designs for transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, transit systems, and intersections.
• Prepare and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Utilize engineering software (e.g., MicroStation, Open road designer, Bluebeam) for design, modeling, and simulation.
• Project Management:
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful execution of transportation projects.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance for all designs processes.
